          “SIN LICENSE”

“Forgiveness full and free!  Does that mean I can
accept Christ and do anything I want to do?”  OF COURSE
NOT!

The apostle Paul answers this question in the
strongest language in chapters 3 and 6 of his letter to the
Romans.  The gospel is the message of forgiveness from the
penalty of sin and also freedom from its power over our
lives.  Paul exhorted,
“For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are
not under law, but under grace.  What then?  Shall we sin
because we are not under law but under grace?  Certainly
not!” (Romans 6:14-15 NKJ)

Christians should memorize Romans 6 as thoroughly as
their telephone numbers, and in faith “reckon” it, or
visualize it as true, in their own lives.

God hates sin.  If we could realize how much, it would
affect our lives:  God hates sin so much that He killed His
own beloved only-begotten Son as the atoning sacrifice for
sin for all time.

The blood of Christ atones for the guilt of sin.  The
cross of Christ, as explained in Romans 6, sets the
believer free from the dominion of sin, and enables the
believer to share in His Resurrection life and victory.
The incredibly expensive grace of God is offered freely to
set the believer free from sin’s penalty and its power.

To suggest that God is offering a free license to sin
is simply stupid.  God calls you to repentance from the sin
that He hates, and which cost Him His Son.  Read the
letters of Paul to the Galatians and the Romans for
yourself, and see if we are reporting accurately what the
Scriptures say.

Put your trust in Jesus, and let Him set you free.  Do
it NOW.
