HOW TO DE-STRESS FOR SUCCESS
Matt. 11:28-30
Seven Principles for De-Stressing.
Identification: I Must Know Who I Am.
“I am One who bears witness of Myself, and the Father who sent Me bears witness of Me.” John 8:18 NKJV
Dedication: I must Know Who I Am Trying To Please.
‘I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.” John 5:30 NKJV
“For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.” Gal. 1:10 NKJV
Prioritization: I Must Know What I Want To Accomplish
Jesus answered and said to them, “Even if I bear witness of Myself, My witness is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going; but you do not know where I come from and where I am going. John 8:14 NKJV
Concentration: I Must Focus On What Is Important.
“As the time drew near for his return to heaven, he moved steadily onward toward Jerusalem with an iron will.” Luke 9:51
“But Jesus told him, “Anyone who lets himself be distracted from the work I plan for him is not fit for the Kingdom of God.”” Luke 9:62 LB
Delegation: I Must Let Others Help Me.
“Then He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach,” Mark 3:14 NKJV
Meditation: I Must Make A Habit Of Prayer.
“Yet despite Jesus’ instructions, the report of his power spread even faster, and vast crowds came to hear him preach and to be healed of their diseases. But Jesus often withdrew to the wilderness for prayer.” Luke 5:15,16 NLT
“Be still, and know that I am God;” Ps. 46:10a NKJV
Relaxation: I Must Take Time To Enjoy Life.
“Then Jesus said, “Let’s get away from the crowds for a while and rest.” There were so many people coming and going that Jesus and his apostles didn’t even have time to eat. 32They left by boat for a quieter spot.” Mark 6:31-32
