Matthew 11:19 The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say,
`Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and
“sinners’.’ But wisdom is proved right by her actions.’

Matthew 20:13Ä16 “But he answered one of them, `Friend, I am not being

you. Don’t I have the right to do what I want with my own money? Or
are you envious because I am generous?’ “So the last will be first,
and the first will be last.’

Luke 5:18Ä20 Some men came carrying a paralytic on a mat and tried to
take him into the house to lay him before Jesus. When they could not
find a way to do this because of the crowd, they went up on the roof
and lowered him on his mat through the tiles into the middle of the
crowd, right in front of Jesus. When Jesus saw their faith, he said,
“Friend, your sins are forgiven.’

Luke 14:12Ä15 Then Jesus said to his host, “When you give a luncheon
or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or relatives, or
your rich neighbours; if you do, they may invite you back and so you
will be repaid. But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the
crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they
cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the
righteous.’ When one of those at the table with him heard this, he
said to Jesus, “Blessed is the man who will eat at the feast in the
kingdom of God.’
