                        Did You Know...

Watchman Fellowship asks: Would you want to trust your eternal destiny to the leadership of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society which has taught the following? (See Index of Watchtower Errors, David Reed, p.96ff):

                    What Happened in 1874?

Christ's presence in 1874 (Studies In The Scriptures, Vol.2, p.239)

Second advent in 1874 (Studies, Vol. 3, p.234).

"Our Lord... is now present, since October 1874 A.D...." (Studies, Vol. 4, p.521).

"Barbour convinced Russell that Christ actually returned invisibly in 1874" (Studies, Vol. 7, p.54).

"Fall 1874 A.D. Second Advent of the Lord" (Studies, Vol. 7, p.68).

"Eighty proofs that the Lord's Second Advent occurred in 1874" (Studies, Vol.7, p.68-71).

"The Millennium began in 1874, with the Return of Christ" (Studies, Vol. 7, p.386).

"The second coming of the Lord therefore began in 1874" (Creation, p.239, early editions; p.310 later editions).

"The Scriptural proof is that the second presence of ... Christ began in 1874 A.D." (Prophecy, p.65).

"...the second presence of the Lord... dates from 1874" (Watchtower, 12/1/1916, p. 5998).

"1874... the time of the Lord's return... " (Watchtower 3/1/1923, p.67).

"...Jesus... has been [present] since 1874..." (Watchtower 1/1/1924, p.5).

Do you believe that?  Neither do today's Jehovah's Witnesses. Today they teach that Jesus returned invisibly in 1914.

                        Did You Know...

Watchman Fellowship asks: Would you want to trust your eternal destiny to the leadership of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society which has taught the following?  (See "Index on Watchtower Errors, David Reed, p.87):

                        Never tell a...

"Did she tell a lie?  No, she did not.  She was not a liar. Rather, she was using theocratic war strategy, hiding the truth by action and word for the sake of the ministry," (Watchtower, 5/1/1957, p.285).

"Lying to God's enemies is not really lying by war strategy" (Watchtower, 6/1/1960, p.352).

"While malicious lying is definitely condemned in the Bible, this does not mean that a person is under obligation to divulge truthful information to people who are not entitled to it" (Aid To Bible Understanding, p. 1061; and Insight On The Scriptures, Vol. 2, p.245).                             This...

"Vaccination is a direct violation of the everlasting covenant that God made with Noah after the flood" (Golden Age, 2/4/1931, p.293).

Organ transplants are cannibalism, hence inappropriate for Christians (Watchtower, 11/15/1967, pp.702-4). "Jehovah's Witnesses consider all organ transplants to be cannibalism, hence unacceptable" (Awake!, 6/19/1968, p.21).

                          Or That...

"Vaccinations appear to have caused a marked decrease in disease" (Awake!, 8/22/1965, p.20).

"Organ transplants are not necessarily cannibalistic" (Watchtower, 3/15/1980, p.31).
